Here's What We Were Working on in May 2022
Create Rows in Product Sections
The update allows us to create product pages a little bit more like landing pages. Before, the product section only allowed components to be place one on top of another, but we can now create a row within a product section, which allows us to place components one next to the other, or multiple next to each other as the example shows. This can not only be used to place images in row, but any other component already allowed in product sections. Tooltips Over Images
This feature will allow the pop up of a tooltip when a visitor hovers their mouse over an image. That tooltip can contain text content or hyperlinks, or we can set it to open up a template in a popup. The best way to use this feature would be to treat it as a call to action. We would place a snippet of information in the tooltip, prompting visitors to click through to a page or template. Rounded Shapes for Section Backgrounds
This feature is made to help certain sections stand out from others. Simply put, it allows us to round the edges of a section background to make it look smoother than having 90 degree angles as the edges. The color can be changed to anything in your current theme color palette as well. If you would like to implement such a background on your site, please contact TigerCare.
Sliding Hero Area
This is an extension of an update made back in February that allowed us to make something like slideshows out of sections. Instead of having to put one section on top of another, we can now add multiple sections in a row, and have them slide between one another. Now, we can do the same thing but with the hero areas on pages. If you have multiple truly stunning photos or headlines that will draw a visitor in, this feature will allow us to get that all on one page.
