AUGUST 2022 MONTHLY UPDATES

This feature allows us to take the widely-used on mobile burger menu feature, and place it into the desktop version of sites. We call it a burger menu due to the 3 stacked lines structure being similar to a minimalistic hamburger patty between the 2 buns. This feature is fantastic for sites with complex main menus that wish to make things more sleek in the header. The menu can still be built out complex, but now hidden behind the burger icon. Please note, that if your site’s visitors are on the elderly side, we don’t recommend this feature, as those types of visitors may not recognize this interface. The burger menu on desktop is definitely going to work better on sites with a more sleek, luxury feel and younger audiences. Another feature focused on giving a nice sleek feel to a page, this feature is also something pulled from mobile to desktop. With the Offset Row on Desktop, we can give carousel rows less of a boxy feel and have it seem like they are hanging off the screen. It makes it very obvious that there are more items in the row and plays well with alignment on the site to mix things up. We recommend this for carousel rows with 4 or more items, but it can be done with fewer items. If you would like this feature implemented on your site, please contact TigerCare.

This feature allows us another way to portray image galleries on the sites. We currently have the full screen pop up, which shows one static image with a button indicating that it can be opened at which point it extends to full screen and visitors can scroll through the images. Another current option is the justified gallery which shows all the images in a collage-type format on the page. This newest option shows one image at a time, but automatically slides in between the images so users can view the entire gallery at the same size without need to click into anything. Please note that this feature does not apply to Hero Area galleries, but we can do something similar in Hero Areas with a different feature. This feature allows us to auto fill form fields based on where people are accessing the form from. For example, this image shows that we can auto fill the ‘Which Tour Are You Interested In?’ form field depending on which page the visitor is on when accessing the form. So, if they are on the Mt. Kilimanjaro 7 Day Trek page when they open the form, the form field will automatically be filled with that tour as the option. Visitors will still be able to change the answer with other options listed for the field. The auto filled field will save visitors some time in filling out the form, and it gives off some clever UX.
