Here's What We Were Working on in December 2020
Sound in Hero Videos
Hero Videos have been an option on the theme for a while, but after a few requests to make sound an option, it’s now available. We cannot have the sound auto-play for accessibility reasons, which is why we added a button to allow visitors to turn the sound on and off at their discretion. The sound is not something that can be added separately. The MP4 file used for the video must include sound in it, and that is where the sound will come from once the video is place in the hero video on the website. If you would like a hero video with sound in it, please let us know.
Disappearing Header When Scrolling
As visitors scroll down a page, it is clear that, at that moment, they are not going to click on anything in the menu, so as they scroll, the entire header will hide at the top of the screen. With the header hidden, they can have a full screen view of the awesome content on the page. Once they scroll back up, the header will reappear should they need to use it for navigation through the site. Currently, the entire header will move upon scrolling.
