Here's What We Were Working on in February 2022
PayPal Integration
This feature allows connection of PayPal directly to the site. With that connection, you can create special payment forms and accept payment to your PayPal account from the website! While it is complex to set up, it is worth it for any operators whose custom structure can make it tough to work well with any booking software. If you’d like to set up PayPal on your site, please reach out to us! Please note, it will probably require a call at some time during set up.
Auto-Scrolling Featured Products
This feature focuses on user experience at the bottom of a tour page. Should a user not like the option they’re currently viewing, we’re able to put a carousel of featured items that may interest them instead. For any users who may not find it immediately obvious that they can scroll through the carousel, we’ve added auto-scrolling! Now you can place more than 3 items in the featured items sections on your tours or blogs, and be sure that people will see the items past the first 3. Slideshow Sections
A bit of an update on last month’s sliding backgrounds and more, this feature allows us to slide entire sections – not just images and content. For example, your entire homepage could be one sliding section: USPs, Tours, Testimonials, About Us, etc (although we wouldn’t recommend that!) Of course, it could simply be used to slide images and content in unison to make a section with a slideshow feel, but it can be used for more complex things as well. Justified Section Layout for Flexi Cards
Flexi Cards are the boxes to show your tour offerings, characterized by at least an image, a headline, and a button. We’ve added carousels and ajax settings to Flexi Card layouts in the past, but this new feature will allow us to create a justified layout of flexis. It’s ideal for drawing focus to one or a few tours over others. The image above is a quick example to show what can be done, but you can check out other possible layouts here.
