LCP Preloading
Largest Contentful Paint is basically the largest asset to load above the fold on any page. This new page signal holds 25% weight in Google ranking for pages! This is the largest weighted of the new factors. On your site, for example, the LCP would be the image or video in the Hero Area. Before, we had this area loading normally with the rest of the page, but our awesome developers changed the loading process of the theme to load the LCP/Hero area before downloading the rest of the page to be loaded. This, combined with the ability to put next-gen images in the hero area, won’t really change how you visually see the site load, but it will affect how Google sees the site load, for the better. On Click Events Tracking Google Analytics Goals
We could track clicks on buttons and links around the site before, but now instead of having to view those numbers a special way in Analytics, we can tie those events to Goals in Analytics, and have the goal triggered each time the event takes place. For example, if you have a goal for people to hit ‘Submit’ on the contact form, while that could be tracked before, it can now be tied specifically to the goal you have in analytics.
